With Windows 10 coming on July 29, you'll want to make sure your PC, applications and various devices will all play nice before you reserve and upgrade. Fortunately, Microsoft has made it easy to do within the Get Windows 10 tool that appears on all copies of Windows 7 and 8.

Upgrading your copy of Windows to 10 should be seamless, but you want to make sure set up is actually ready beforehand. That new Windows icon down in your system tray will let you do more than reserve your copy of Windows 10 for free. As Fatima Wahab at AddictiveTips points out, it can also check your whole system to make sure everything is all set for the upgrade. It's pretty simple to do:

    * Click the Get Windows 10 icon in your system tray in the lower-right section of your desktop.
    * Click the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner.
    * Under "Getting the upgrade," select Check your PC.

If you're all set and ready for the upgrade when it comes, you'll be given a good to go message. Otherwise, you'll see a list of devices and apps that aren't supported.

Device issues could mean a monitor won't display properly at the highest resolution, or some speakers won't be able to play audio with the upgrade. Apps that are listed as unsupported will need to be uninstalled before you start the upgrade process. Of course, a driver update or patch install may fix those issues as well, so check again if you can find updates.

In no time One Plus revealed another feature of its upcoming product One Plus 2.

Making the announcement on its Google+ page and Twitter, the company spokesperson posted, "Our second spec revealed: The OnePlus2 will be the first flagship smartphone to use the latest Type C USB. We want to lead the way in power connectivity."

The highlight of the USB Type-C cable is that it's reversible so you don't need to check which side of the connector is up while inserting it. The Type-C port on the OnePlus 2 could allow file transfer speeds up to 10Gbps and allow the smartphone to charge faster.

At the moment, Apple's new 12-inch MacBook is one of the few devices to feature the USB Type-C port. Chinese device maker LeTV had also launched phones with USB Type-C but the devoces are available only in China.

OnePlus had recently confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor version 2.1.

"Although there have been reports that the 810 runs warmer than its predecessors, we assure you that we have taken all the necessary precautions and beyond to prevent this from occurring in the 2. We worked very closely with Qualcomm's engineers to integrate an improved version of the chipset (v2.1) in the OnePlus 2, and fine-tuned both hardware and software. The 2 will be "cooler than ever," it said in a blog post addressing heating concerns around the processor.

It's likely that the OnePlus 2 will be introduced in July although the company has given a Q3 timeline.

Lenovo-owned Motorola is likely to release its next-generation Moto G smartphone, whose images and videos have hit the web recently.

The video shows several details about the upcoming Motorola smartphone, including key hardware and software version. It seems that the third-generation Moto G model will share quite a few features with its predecessor, such as the 5-inch (720p) HD screen, 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, and microSD card support.

The new model will also be powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor, with four cores running 1.4GHz. Its Antutu benchmark score is reportedly higher too at 23355, compared to the 17976 score of the second-generation model.
Moto G (Gen 3) will run on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating system out-of-the-box. Like Moto E (Gen 2), the upcoming smartphone will support 4G networks.

The biggest upgrade to Moto G will be the camera resolution, jumping straight from an 8MP rear camera to a 13MP primary shooter, which will be accompanied by dual LED flash. The front camera also gets more suited for selfies with 5MP resolution, up from the 2MP front shooter of the second-generation Moto G.

The leaked images also show that Motorola has updated the design of Moto G's back panel with the third-generation variant. We have to wait for some more time to know more about it.

One plus has a strategy of creating hype using new technologies which are never been used. As the arrival of One Plus Two is fast approaching the company reveals a new feature about its product.

OnePlus has confirmed on its Twitter page that the USB Type-C connector is coming on the OnePlus 2. In fact, a quick look at the cover image of the OnePlus twitter handle will tell you that the OnePlus 2 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. This was also be announced on  the OnePlus forums. Looks like OnePlus will be releasing details of the phone gradually, as indicated by the cover image.
If OnePlus 2 releases with the USB Type-C connector and launches in India soon, it will be the first smartphone with that connector selling in India. Chinese phone maker LeTV has already released phones with the USB Type-C connector in China. There are rumours about Samsung Note 5 and the leaked Galaxy S6 Edge Plus also sporting the USB Type-C connector. But nothing is confirmed yet by Samsung. So far only the new Apple Macbook sports the USB Type-C connector.
USB Type-C will most likely be the future connector of choice, as it not only lets you charge your device but also transfer data at double the throughput as a regular USB 3.0. On the Macbook, the USB-Type C connector can also used as a video out port. Thanks to the port being reversible in nature, you can connect charging cable blindly to your device.
But according to OnePlus, there will be some new features along with the Type-C connector on the OnePlus 2 as well. “We’ve made further improvements on top of the USB Type C standard that we have patented and that will be exclusive to OnePlus. We don’t want to spoil the surprise, so tune into the OnePlus 2 launch to find out more!” said its forum post.

Apple has quietly removed the original iPad mini from both its website and the Apple Store.

It was about time, after all. The mini was introduced in 2012, yet was still being sold alongside its two successors for a reduced price of $249 for the 16GB model (down from the original $329).
It was the last iOS device Apple still sold without a Retina display – its panel is just 1024 x 768 or 163 ppi . It’s also the last iPad running on 32-bit architecture, so developers should at least have a bit of an easier time working across devices.
Though you can still buy refurbished devices and resellers will still have some available as they empty their stock, it looks like Apple will no longer be producing new ones from here on out. So long.

Summarising the future of Windows 10 from the press event we just witnessed is a job that even Satya Nadella would find difficult. However, Windows 10’s most important new features are as follows:
One plus one is the mobile that shook the Indian mobile market. It was exclusively sold on Amazon India. But the time has changed , firstly the Amazon sold without an invite, now there is a major change.
The One Plus gives the golden opportunity to the e-tail giant flipkart.

Flipkart recently announced that they are waiting for a mobile to be launched officially on their platform. Though they did not revealed which product they are releasing but the product resembles One Plus One. They are planning to release a 64 GB version. We must have to wait for the launch.
The technology geeks express a positive feedback over this event saying that this re-release would make a way to sell the product at a low price tag.

WhatsApp,  was tested by a San Francisco based organisation faces a major drawback in maintaining its privacy policy. The Facebook only owned messaging app was tested in Electronic freedom foundation's contest called Who's got your back?

The main criteria of the contest are
    as follows:
    • Follows industry-accepted best practices
    • Tells users about government data demands
    • Discloses policies on data retention
    • Discloses government content removal requests
    • Pro-user public policy: opposes backdoors.
In this contest WhatsApp is the only one to receive 1 star.
The contest reveals that WhatsApp does not require a warrant before it provides content to law enforcement agencies and does not publish a transparency report, like so many other companies do.
WhatsApp also does not promise that users will receive advance notice about government data demands, and the report goes on to criticise the company as it does not publish any information on data retention policies or content removal requests.
The only area where WhatsApp gets some credit comes from Facebook’s public policy of opposing including backdoors that can be exploited by government agencies.
Apple, Dropbox tops the list with five stars. Search giant Google is left back with Three stars.

Ever imagined what it would be if we all get connected over 5G networks ? Yes this post reveals about the 5G networks.

The International Telecommunications Union ITU is already looking forward to integrate all the mobiles over 5G networks.
The 5G is still in the definition stage but we like to present you the first look of these high speed monsters.
During a conference held in San Diego from June 10th to 18th, 12 member delegation sat to draw up the specifications to be established for the upcoming 5G network standard and to set a roadmap as to how the objective will be achieved.
ITU has decided that 5G compliant networks will have to provide a peak data speed of up to 20Gbps, which means it's 20 times faster than the peak speed specification (1Gbps) of 4G LTE networks.

For actual user speeds, this simply means a customer should receive an average Internet speed of between 100 and 1000 Mbps, which is somewhere between 10 and 100 fold increase over the typical 4G LTE speed of 10Mbps.

So, soon in future, you may be able to download a full-length High Definition movie to your mobile phone in just a matter of seconds. Moreover, video chats with friends will be so realistic that you will feel like you can touch the other person right through your phones screen.
The 5G network technology, which is still in the development stage, is expected to roll out between 2018 and 2020.

As for the formal naming scheme, 5G Networks will be called IMT-2020, similar to IMT-2000 for 3G Networks and IMT-Advanced for 4G Networks.

The final details for the 5G standard for mobile networking will be confirmed in October this year, following approval from the 193 International Telecommunication Union (ITU) member countries.

Although an early demonstration of 5G network speeds will be given at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games, South Korea, according to Korean officials.
